Legimus for WooCommerce

Legimus is an AI sales assistant for small and mid-sized online stores. It answers shopper questions, recommends products from the merchant catalog, and hands the conversation to a human when needed.

The plugin puts the assistant on a WooCommerce storefront. The merchant pastes a bot token from the Legimus dashboard, ticks one box, and the chat bubble appears — no theme files to edit.

What it does

• Loads the assistant on the storefront only after the merchant opts in.
• Stores the bot token on the merchant's own WordPress server.
• Connects the product catalog from the Legimus dashboard using WooCommerce's own /wc-auth/v1/authorize screen. The merchant approves a read-only API key; nothing to copy by hand.
• Declares compatibility with HPOS and cart/checkout blocks.

External service

This plugin is a client for Legimus, a third-party AI service operated by Legimus AI. It is not a standalone product: without a Legimus account it will not do anything.

When — and only when — a bot token is saved and the assistant is enabled, the plugin loads https://cdn.legimus.ai/widget.min.js and opens a connection to https://api.legimus.ai. The data exchanged is the shopper conversation and the page they are on. Nothing is sent while the assistant is disabled.
